I remember the precise moment I fell in love with beads.  I was 13.   My aunt came to visit and taught me how to make Native American style earrings with seed beads. I have always been supported by my family while I tried every art form I could get my hands on including ceramics, drawing, weaving, painting, and metalsmithing. I always found a way to incorporate beads into any project. I gravitated towards the earthen elements of semiprecious stones. I appreciate nature in all her glory, so I made Colorado my home. I am captivated by color and enjoy the effect it has on each person. Sometimes the best designs come from the gorgeous color combinations I see hiking through the National Forest.

Custom designs are my favorite opportunity. It is wonderful to assist another with his or her own expression. Be it beauty enhancement or personal totems, everyone has a way of expressing themselves through their adornment.
